Taking a subway station in Tianjin as the research object, an experimental study on the heat-exhausted system is carried out. This paper compares and analyses the air temperature and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the tunnel, the air temperature in the public area, the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system in the public area, and the heat discharged by the heat-exhausted fans under different operating conditions of the heat-exhausted system, and studies the actual role of the heat-exhausted system in controlling the temperature and carbon dioxide concentration in the tunnel, as well as the influence of the heat-exhausted system on the thermal environment of the public area. The results show that even in the period with the highest outdoor temperature in Tianjin, the piston effect generated by train operation and the natural cooling of the tunnel wall and surrounding soil can ensure that the air temperature and the carbon dioxide concentration in the tunnel always meet the requirements of the standard, so the heat-exhausted system can be switched off or canceled.
